Here it is....!
The new video from Anders Trentemøller is written and directed by the Danish video-artist Jesper Just. It shows a woman wondering inside an old empty house in an isolated abandoned and smoky city. The video was shot in an existing ghost-city Centralia PA, USA, known for the fire that still burns in the underground-mines and has been since 1962.
The female lead is performed by both, Diana Wagner and a well known New Yorker drag performer, Princess Diandra. The fragmented structure of the video makes it a challenge to separate the two actors.

Coming up shortly Anders Trentemøller´s new album ¨ Into The Great Wide Yonder ¨ / TBR in may.
Anders asked me quite a while ago if I would like to sing on one of his tracks for his new record and I said yes! I wrote the melody and the lyrics for his wonderful track called 'Sycamore Feeling'. I'm really happy about the song. I think Anders is an amazing DJ, wizard with soundscapes and a hunting performer! Every time I think about the performance he gave at Roskilde festival last summer I almost can't believe the extraordinary show he pulled off! That was also the premiere of 'Sycamore Feeling' live.
I am pleased to share with you 'Sycamore Feeling' is picked as his first single of the album and will be released almost as we speak. Go pick it up folks and stay tuned for his new album.
You can order the single vinyl 12¨ It contains six tracks, four of which are remixes that take the song in a completely different direction with remixes by Trentemøller him self, Gui Boratto, Mofus, Thomas Schumacher. Great Artwork by Henrik Vibskov & Andreas Emenius and soon a video will be available for this track directed by video-artist Jesper Just.

LOUISIANA MUSEUM of MODERN ART presents an evening about The Man In Black. The author and music-critic Klaus Lynggaard will tell us about Johnny Cash and what is so fascinating about this man who came in from the street and recorded his first hit singles in Sun studio, became a legend in his time and a great inspiration to artists, never stopped touring and recorded the masterpieces I-VI American Recordings with Rick Rubin until he died in 2003.
Kenneth Thordal and Marie Fisker will perform songs from the catalogue of his carrier inspired by the man who was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century.

It's been great touring in Switzerland and Germany! The audience and people I met there were all wonderful. I also loved touring with Rune Kjeldsen, Helgi Jónsson and Daníel Böðvarsson. We had much fun. Though I easily get carsick (and almost threw up in the Alps) I think the countryside is beautiful, hilly with vineyards and churches, valley with rivers and strems. Would have loved to hang around on days off to see some more of the citys we styed in, but we had a tight schedule. One really great thing we did was to visit the BRAUNER factory which makes some of the most exquisite microphones in the world! We got invited by the founder and boss Mr. Dirk Brauner and I filmed a lot of it. I'll post some of it soon.

Congratulation to Ane Trolle and Louise Hubert with their new collaboration designing the collection The Tambourine March! I had the pleasure performing among Piano Prins, Ormen, Nanna Thylstrup, Giana Factory, Copyfjex and Vinnie Who at their launch the 30th of January. It was a great night and the collection is so beautiful!

...I must admit it was a WILD and an overwhelming experience to show up as a surprise at the dj performance and live concert by Anders Trentemøller at Roskilde Festival 2009. I was so proud to sing "Sycamore Feeling" which Trentemøller and I wrote together and to sing "Copenhagen Love" (a mash up of SODS-Copenhagen/Soft Cell-Tainted Love) with Steen Jørgensen! As I were the first guest performer, afterwards I had the chance to enjoy the rush of this genius performance for two hours in front of 50.000 people. I've never seen such a dancing, raving end enthusiastic audience in my life...! He sure did a fabulous show with dancers, light-show, a 20m caterpillar and most of all Trentemøller delivered his most exciting DJ set, mashing up his favorite tunes from all genres and times and spicing them with his own edits, versions and songs. invited friends and artists on stage were : Marie Fisker, Steen Jørgensen (Sods), Josephine Philip (JaConfetti), Henrik Vibskov, Mikael Simpson and Ane Trolle to join the ride.

VI DER BLEV TILBAGE/ WE WHO STAYED BEHIND Martin de Thurah, 2008
10-year-old Adam is one of the few kids left behind after all the grown-ups have succumb to hopelessness and abandoned the city, leaving it in a state of disarray. Adam tries to make sense of it all, along with his friend Ida. But soon she too is struck by the same symptom of disillusion: Her blood turns gray, her look is empty, and she sets off from the city. Determined to put a stop to this madness and bring Ida back to life, Adam leads the children in their struggle to make the city a place worth living in once again.
Marie Fisker has composed and recorded the song "I Love You So" for the shot film "Vi Der Blev Tilbage" by Martin De Thurah.
The film is nominated at VENEDIG filmfestival '08 and BUSTER filmfestival '08.

premier in London. The film was commissioned by
Film4 and UK Film Council on their Cinema Extreme
strand. New Love is a story set in the future. In a brave
new world built on rationality, it plunges us into the irrational
logics of love and desire.
This little wonder is 20 minutes long and my song "Close Me In"
is on the soundtrack. I'm very proud of this, and hope to show
some of the scenes from the short film on my website asap...

GO WITH PEACE JAMIL – MA SALAMA JAMIL is Omar Shargawis first feature film. It won the Tiger Award on Rotterdam International Film Festival in January. Furthermore it achieved a price from The Church of Sweden and the FIPRESCI price at Gothenburg International Film Festival this year. The film is an Arabic tale, which takes place in Scandinavia. About ancient religious hatred, about love, punishment, guilt and redemption, about being responsible for one's own actions and refusing a path of violence. Jamil stands in the middle. He is fighting the war of his life; a war within himself.

med, at mennesker på flugt interneres i danske asylcentre i årevis.
Beboerne i Center Sandholm kan onsdag aften opleve koncert med Kira Skov, Caroline
Henderson, Annisette, Marie Fisker og Nikolaj Nørlund og Rhonda Harris.
Arrangementet er stablet på benene af Kira Skov, som på tre dage har samlet sine
musikalske venner, der stiller op gratis. De praktiske omkostninger betales af Amnesty International og Dansk Artist Forbund.

In July this summer I recorded the old punk classic “Copenhagen” with Steen Jorgensen from Sort Sol. I love he’s voice and this song is so great! The sun never set's on a legend!
Johnny Cash was regarded as one of the most important figures in country music, with a career that spanned six decades. He's been and still are a great inspiration to lots of people all over the world....
On the 24th. of February DR2/temalørdag (danish national television) will focus on the life of Johnny Cash at 8 pm. As part of this program 8 danish songwriters has been asked to sing a song from his repertoire and tell a little bit about why and how this 'Man In Black' has made an impact. The artists performing will be : Steen Jørgensen, Nikolaj Nørlund, Klaus Lynggaard, Claus Hempler, Salem and Kira Skov/Marie Fisker!
There will also be snapshots and highlights of his career so be sure to turn on your TV and watch the show...

...Værten for PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER er foreningen Forny Christiania, der har åbnet Den Grå Hal i 100 dage for kulturelle begivenheder, med det erklærede mål at inspirere til Christianias fornyelse.
Valget af Patti Smith som omdrejningspunkt for koncerten er ikke tilfældigt. Med sin kunstneriske integritet og sit utrættelige politiske engagement har hun et perspektiv der rækker langt ud over det private. At hun ikke er bange for at gøre sig til talsmand for politiske sager og af samme grund efterhånden er blevet en kendt aktør i forskellige debatsammenhænge som demokrati, globalisering, menneskerettigheder, integrationspolitik, kønspolitik, m.v.
På samme måde mener initiativtagerne til PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER, at det er på tide at Christiania genvinder sin status som aktør i den kollektive debat. Alt for længe har debatten på og om Christiania været begrænset til at handle om ”egen overlevelse”, når den i stedet kunne handle om emner med relevans for os alle i en verden fuld af ulighed og konflikt.
Således er det håbet at denne aften kan huske christianitter og københavnere (med flere) på at Christiania har en stemme - også i ”verden udenfor”.
Initiativtagere til PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER er Anne Cathrine Sauerberg, Jane Ostermann-Petersen, og Solveig Sandnes i samarbejde med foreningen Forny Christiania.
Marie Fisker plays support for ”Kira and The Kindred Spirits” on their spring tour 2006. This is going to be a special tour with songs from the release of “Kira and The Kindred Spirits” new album (which is great!). Kira and Marie used to perform together in their teens and now they will be reunited on stage with each their own shows. Marie will be joined by Rune Kjeldsen (guitar), Nikolai Munch-Hansen (bass) and Jakob Høyer (drums) for these performances.

Marie Fisker receives funding as a prize of honour from Carlsberg! This prize is given to young talented artists every other year and has been given among others to the film director Natasha Arty (2001), the songwriter Nikolaj Nørlund (1996) and the author Peter Høeg (1998). The reception took place the 25th of October.
